    Good but …

    The tr80 is magnificent but to there is so many things you can add on to make it stronger which should be listed in the instructions because with the spare parts you can make the shifter arm stop wobbling and better attach the arms of the sim

    Solid as a Rock Sim Rig

    I had a track racer tr6 & have upgraded to the tr80 lite. Extremely impressive only wish I started with this rig. Second to none!!!! No f look ex especially with the add on tr one wheel mount & full side arm (even used spare parts ggg or r a mouse mount) solid pedal base with absolutely zero flex. Highly recommended!

    Le tr 80 de base est déjà superbe comme base à vous de l'améliorer.

    Utilisé avec simagic ultimate et p1000 inversé. Attention la plaque support pédalier ne permet aucun réglage avant, arrière, droite, gauche pour ce p1000 préférez monter le pédalier sur barre supplémentaires et servez vous de la plaque comme support pour les pieds. n'oubliez pas les roulettes très pratique. N'achetez pas trop d'options avant de voir la place que cela prend vraiment chez vous.

    J'ai du limer un peu 2 trous pour fixer la base aussi rien de grave. N'hésitez à monter certains éléments comme cela vous arrange et non pas comme ils sont prévus au départ...

    TR80 Lite

    I decided on the TR80 Lite as I wanted a aluminium rig but didn't need all the bells and whistles like the other models. This TR80 Lite ticked all the boxes for me as I just wanted something simple yet solid. Also the rig sits in the TV room permanently so I was also limited for space.

    Overall good product for the "cheapest option"

    As a whole the TR80 setup is good in terms of layout and moving to a proper permanent setup (not on a desk) adjusting the frame uprights is made easier with 2 80mm corner brackets each side unlike some other vendors using plates or separate 40mm ones (looks better too) Stability wise the frame has some flex on the uprights as all do if you don't add additional profile in the centre between the main lengths. Hardware wise, the t-nuts are hit or miss, the recesses on the sides aren't very deep so you'll feel the t-nut come out of the profile groove spin/grind on the profile then needing to back off the bolt and feel the nut drop back in, these are generic ones used across the industry.

    Biggest gripe with the TR80 and trakracer is optional extras/changes & communication. There's no options to change the wheel mount or pedal mount on the TR80 Lite config, I wanted the TR-ONE wheel mount instead of the standard as I knew I'd get a Simagic plus looks fancy with the red, it's available for the TR80, TR120, TR160 but not Lite? They want to refuse options on a base model, shameful. I could have gotten the TR120 but I didn't want the extra costs for the pedal setup that I didn't need and frame design. So I emailed about the wheel plate if I could change them and pay the difference of £26 no reply NEVER. Now to buy the wheel mount I want will be an extra £100 when the difference was £26 which is pathetic when it's available on the other frame setups initially. Will I buy it?…
